Are there any Blood sugar monitoring machines WITHOUT disposable chemical strips?
The Glucose monitoring machines are cheap but the “strips” are normally prohibitively expensive. This is in fact a commercial strategy of the Medical comapanies.
Do we have any blood or “other” accurate sugar monitoring eqpt which may be a bit expensive to buy but has very minimal repeat ( for each test) expenses.
Rider : I know of cheap urine sugar monitoring but it is un scientific and horribly in accurate. pl suggest anything else ONLY.

I am not aware of any monitors that do not require test strips. The American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org) or one of its forums might be able to help. They may even be able to help you with assistance to pay for your strips.

Unfortunately even the continuous blood glucose monitor requires sensors that are comparable to the price of the individual strips

I am a type 1 diabetic and because I suffer from hypoglycaemia / hypoglycemia / night sweats during the night, I am afraid I may not wake up and go into a hypoglycaemic / hypoglycemic coma.
A friend has told me that there is an alarm available, which is worn like a watch.
This alarm detects two of the symptoms of hypoglycaemia / hypoglycemia / night sweats which are a drop in skin temperature and sweating. This alarm detects these symptoms and wakes you up with a vibrating and audible alarm.
